The .300 Blackout was created to deliver 7.62x39 class energy from an AR with standard magazines, and the heavy loads keep it hearing friendly. Unsuppressed, the 110gr VMAX turns short barrels into legitimate 300 yard defensive and hunting tools.

Know Your Barrel, Know Your Numbers

We publish velocity by barrel length because Blackout lives in short guns: the 110gr runs 2,300 FPS from a 16", 2,100 from a 10.5", and 1,900 from a 7.5". Subsonics are tested in 8" to 10.5" rifles with and without suppressors. Rifle setups vary, so you may need to adjust gas settings or buffer weights for best performance.
